Post 3rd Weekend Reflection

My 3rd Week in review was a great week. My process for my fraternity Pi Kappa Phi was started this weekend which brought on a bunch of new time commitments on top of the already tons of homework I consistently have. It definitely is worth it in the end though in my opinion. Friday night was the night we were pinned into the house followed by a bro night. Saturday night was the first big party of the year at the house where about 300+ people showed up and it was a lot of fun. Sunday night was our first education session followed up by an introduction to the Chi Omega girls. Overall each weekend has been progressively been more fun since college has started.

Post Second Week Reflection

My second week of college of is over many different things have happened. I have met many new people which I continue to struggle remembering all the names and faces of people I met. The most noteworthy events that took place during last week was the formal recruitment for fraternities also known as rush week. The first couple days I visited every frat house at Western and then after meeting a bunch of the guys I made my choice on which house I liked the most being Pi Kappa Phi. On Thursday I returned to their house where they offered me a bid into their organization where I will begin my pledge process next week!

About Me...

My name is Mike Urban and I originally come from South Lyon, MI. I am a freshman here at Western Michigan University studying business and I plan on majoring in the business field, however I am currently undecided on which major I want to pursue. My hobbies and interests would include sports specifically basketball and football. I enjoy playing video games and hanging out with my best friends. Coming to Western I am leaving many of my friendships back home and I'm here to make new ones and meet many new awesome people.
